“Ustadha Lena is an active member of her local Community serving with numerous mosques and Islamic organizations like Mosque Foundation٫ the Prayer Center of Orland Park, MECCA CENTER & Muslim American Society to name a few. She holds a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science and is currently working on her Master’s degree in Counseling, specializing in Family and Marriage. For over seven years now, she has worked under the leadership of Mr. Halil Demir at Zakat Foundation of America contributing immensely to their humanitarian efforts. Ustadha Lena has also lead various halaqas and programs for youth and Muslim women since 2001.
