Dr. El-Amin is a retired College teacher who has served as: Community College Psychology/Social Science Instructor, Assistant Professor of Psychology, (Alabama A&M), Parent Outreach Coordinator and Guidance Counselor, (Montclair NJ,) Upward Bound Counselor (Seton Hall University, NJ), Head Start Staff, and Psychological Consultant, (Springfield, Mass,) Director of Bridge, (Smith College, Northampton, Mass), Drug and Alcohol Abuse, Diversity, Racism and Leadership Training Consultant, and has Clinical, Counseling and teaching experience with varied populations from preschool to adult. Dr El Amin works with the Sister Clara Muhammed Memorial Education Foundation of New Jersey and the Sister Clara Muhammad Schools Consortium. He also Authored “The Good Sense That G-d Gave” – August 1996 “Education for Faith Based Intelligence and Community Life” August, 2000 Collaborative Author: “A History of Muslim African-Americans” Islamic History Project -2006 Dr El-Amin has been a Muslim and follower of Imam WD Mohammed since 1973 and completed the Hajj to Mecca in 2006. Dr El Amin is married to Linda Aleshia El Amin of Mount Clemens, Michigan.
