“Imam Yasir is currently serving as the Imam for Noor Masjid in downtown Salt Lake City with Islamic Society of Greater Salt Lake. Islamic Society is the first historic congregation of Muslims in Utah. Imam Yasir has earned many official sacred text licenses from traditional Islamic scholars. Furthermore, he has completed his bachelor of science in Clinical Lab from the University of South Alabama. He is also a board member in the Salt Lake Interfaith Roundtable. His passion is education, spirituality and community outreach”.
